process
Ten potential participants (10% of the co-working space membership) were collaboratively selected with Industry Lab staff to cut across a variety of characteristics of the diverse membership. Secondary research was conducted, using internal information previously collected from prospective and outgoing members, and the interview guide was adjusted based on takeaways.
All identified members agreed to participate, and 25-50 minute conversations (semi-structured interviews) were held. Interviews were recorded, transcribed and coded. Findings were broken out into themes and presented to the management team, along with "quick win" and long-term opportunities and marketing recommendations.
